Ḥadīth Discourse of Political Advice a Study of Selected aḥādīth

Abstract

الملخص يقدم هذا البحث عرضا للخطاب النبوي للنصيحة السياسية، وذلك ليتكون لدى القارئ تصور عن طبيعة هذا العمل في عهد النبوة، والتشريعات ذات الصلة، وجاء البحث في قسمين أولهما عام فيه أن الإسلام عظّم مكانة النصيحة عموما، وجعلها حقا لكل فرد في المجتمع وواجبا على البعض، واتباعا لسنة النبي الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم، ومن أنواع التذكير في الله، أما القسم الثاني فجاء فيه بيان النصيحة السياسة، وأن لها غير واحدة من الوسائل ذكرتها السنة النبوية، وبين البحث أن الإسلام قد جعل لأهل الذمة حقوقا وواجبات في المجتمع المسلم والتي تمثل وجها من وجوه النصيحة السياسية برعاية الأقليات في ظل المجتمع المسلم، ويرصد البحث أهم الحوادث التي تدل على النصيحة السياسية وممارستها في الإسلام بحرية مصالح العباد ورعايتها . الكلمات المفتاحية: النصيحة السياسية، الحديث النبوي، الخطاب النبوي، أهل الذمة.

Abstract In this research, we will provide readers with the most important texts of ḥadīth regarding political advice, and analyze them in order to prove the existence of this concept in the Islamic literature of ḥadīth, and explore the ways used by the prophet in addressing such a concept. This is done after presenting the literature about advice in general. Here, by political advice we refer to all efforts made in order to advise Muslims in political matters. Therefore, the present study records the most important aḥādīth and incidents related to this topic, and provides scholars with them, and this is the limit of our study. The study gives examples from the rulings regarding the Dhimmisas form of political advice by caring for non-Muslim minorities under the Islamic ruling and presents jizyah as a means of political advice.
