الملخص
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إلقاء الضوء على أهم الآراء والمواقف التي تبناها العلامة ابن خلدون في العديد من المسائل الاقتصادية، التي ظهرت في وقته، باعتباره رائدا من رواد التركيز على العمل الاقتصادي وتقسيماته، وإلى الملكية الخاصة باعتبارها محفزاً على العمل الذي اعتبره مقياساً للقيمة باعتبار أن قيمة البضاعة يمثل مقدار العمل المبذول في إنتاجها، وقد تناول ابن خلدون لذلك فكرة كثرة السكان، واعتبر أنها مصدر الازدهار والقوة والرفاهية للدولة، وحدد كذلك وظائف النقود، وأشار كذلك إلى قضية التجارة الدولية وأسباب قيامها.
Abstract
This study aims at highlighting the most significant economical points of view adopted by Ibn Khaldoun, which made of him a pioneer in focusing on economy and its divisions, and also on private property as motivation to work, He considered it as a measurement for value, stating that the value of commodities is the effort made to produce it . Ibn Khaldoun focused also on the increasing population as source of prosperity, strength, and luxury to the nation. He concentrated on the function of currency and talked about international trade and reasons for establishing it.
