ملخص
تتناول هذه الدراسة بلدة دير أبي سعيد في الفترة ما بين (1953-1965) م حيث كانت تشكل آنذاك مركز ناحية الكورة. وقد اعتمدنا فيها على سجل البلدية مصدراً أساسياً لهذه الدراسة. ويعد هذا النوع من السجلات مصدراً تاريخياً هاماً لدراسة تاريخ الأردن الحديث والمعاصر؛ إذ يعطينا صورة واضحة عن مختلف جوانب الحياة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والإدارية وتركيبة السكان وعلاقتهم بالإدارة المحلية.
وقد تناولنا في هذه الدراسة التطور التاريخي لدير أبي سعيد وحدودها وشوارعها ومجالسها البلدية المتعاقبة عليها وقراراتها ووظائفها وموازنتها وغيرها من المحاور المتعلقة بذلك. ويعد هذا النوع من السجلات مصدرا هاماً من مصادر دراسة تاريخ الأردن الحديث والمعاصر. وهي مجال خصب للبحث والدراسة.

This study addresses Dair Abi Said town during the period from
(1953-1965) which formed at that date center of Al-Kora district. The municipal records were principally consulted in this study، as this sort of records is a valuable historical source to study the modern and contemporary history of Jordan as it provides a clear picture of the different social، economic، and administrative aspects of life، composition of population and relations with the local administration.
The present study investigated the historical development of Dair Abi Said، in terms of boundaries، roads، consecutive town councils، decisions they made، functions، budgets and other related themes. This kind of records is a worthwhile source of historical studies of the modern and contemporary Jordanian history and a fertile field of study.
