انعكاسات ثورات الربيع العربي على الوعي السياسي لطلبة الجامعات الأردنية في إقليم الوسط

Abstract

ملخص هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة انعكاسات ثورات الربيع العربي على الوعي السياسي لطلبة الجامعات الأردنية في إقليم الوسط، وقدمت الدراسة إطارا مفاهيميا عن الثورات والوعي السياسي، ومكونات الوعي السياسي، وانعكاسات الثورات العربية على الوعي السياسي لدى طلبة الجامعات الأردنية. ودراسة ميدانية طبقت على عينة الدراسة من طلبة الجامعات الأردنية في إقليم الوسط. واستخدمت الدراسة الاستبيان المكون من (40) فقرة تمثل مؤشرات للوعي السياسي. وطبقت الأداة بعد أن تحقق لها صدق وثبات مقبولين. وتم معالجة البيانات باستخدام المتوسطات الحسابية، والانحرافات المعيارية، والاختبارات الإحصائية المناسبة لأسئلة الدراسة ومتغيراتها. وأكدت نتائج الدراسة أن انعكاسات ثورات الربيع العربي على الوعي السياسي لطلبة الجامعات الأردنية في إقليم الوسط، قد جاءت بشكل عام مرتفعة، ولم يكن لمتغيري الجنس والكلية أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05)، في حين كان لمتغير نوع الجامعة أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية وكانت الفروق لصالح الجامعات الحكومية. وبناء علية أوصت الدراسة بضرورة تثقيف الشباب الجامعي بأهمية المشاركة السياسية على المستوى الفردي والجماعي، ومنح الطلبة مزيدا من الحرية والسماح لهم بالمشاركة بالعمل السياسي داخل الجامعات.

Abstract The Impact of Arab Spring on the Political onsciousness of Students At Jordanian Universities in the Middle Region This study aims to observe the impact of Arab Spring revolutions on the political awareness of students at Jordanian universities in the middle region. The study addresses the theoretical framework about the revolution, political awareness and its components, and the impact of Arab revolutions on university students’ political awareness. A field study was conducted on a sample of university students in the middle region in Jordan using a forty-item questionnaire representing the indicators of political awareness after establishing its validity and reliability. The collected data was processed using proper statistical tests to the questions of the study and its variables including means and standard deviations. The results ensured that the impact of Arab Spring revolutions on the political awareness of students at Jordanian universities in the middle region were high in degree. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences attributed either to the gender or faculty of students. However, students of public universities showed a higher impact than their counterparts in private universities. The study concludes by highlighting the vital need for educating university students about the importance of political participation on the individual and collective levels, and the need to grant them more freedom and allow them to participate in political work within the universities.
