ألف القاضي أبو بكر بن العربي الإشبيلي المعافري (ت ٥٤٣هـ) في مختلف فروع العلم والمعرفة، وهو أحد العلماء
البارزين الذين توجت أسماؤهم سجل التاريخ الإسلامي، وكان له قدم راسخة في علم الحديث دراية ورواية.
وقد عرض هذا البحث آراء ابن العربي في علم الحديث وقواعده، وبيّن جهوده في الدراسات الحديثية، ووضح
رأيه في مسألة حجية خبر الواحد، وحكم رواية الحديث بالمعنى، وموقفه من العمل بالحديث الضعيف وروايته.
كما بين البحث عناية ابن العربي بعلم الرجال واهتمامه الخاص بطرق الحديث ورواياته وأبان البحث عن مكانة
ابن العربي في تصحيح الحديث وتضعيفه، وسجل أهم المآخذ والملحوظات العلمية عليه.
Abstract
Judge Abu-Baker Bin Al-Arabi Al-Eshbeli Al-Ma'afri (543 H) had written in different fields of
science and knowledge. He was one of the prominent Islamic scholars and had a remarkable contribution to the study of the prophet's saying by narration and criticism. This study has displayed the opinions of Bin Al-Arabi in this field of Islamic knowledge (the Prophet's dictum or sayings) and its rules and basis. It also tackles his contribution to modern sciences. This study also discusses his opinion in the matter of the one narrator of the Prophet's words and the relation between the narration itself and meaning. This study also discusses how far Bin Al-Arabi uses weakly documented narrations of the Prophet's words and questions the validity to use weakly documented sayings. Also this study is interested in Bin Al- Arabi's study of the narrator's bibliography and ways and manners of narrations. Bin Al-Arabi, within his efforts to correct and document narrations made the most important criticism and scientific notes in this field of Islamic study.
