يتعرّض هذا البحث إلى التعريف بشخصية الشاعر الجاهلي: أميّة بن أبي الصّلْت الثقفي، ويعرض نماذج لأبرز الموضوعات والعقائد المدونة في قصائده. ويناقش ما ورد في شعره من عقائد وقصص ديني، ثمّ يبين علاقته بأهل الكتاب ومدى تأثّره بهم في رحلاته طلباً للدّين الحقّ، ويُوضح البحث دوافع اختلاف المستشرقين في شِعره الدّيني.
Abstract
This research exposes the character of the pre-Islamic poet: Umayyah Ibn Abi Assalt Al-thaqafi. It displays the main subjects and believes in his poems, and it discusses what had been mentioned about his believes and the religious stories in his poetry. Then, it explains his relation to the people of the Book, and how he was affected by them while he was traveling to reveal the truth religion. This research also explores Orientlist?s disagreements about Umayyah?s religious poetry.
