الملخص
تتناول هذه الدراسة قضية مهمة من قضايا الأدب الحديث، فجدلية الأنا والآخر في الرواية العربية الحديثة لاقت اهتماما واسعا من النقاد المحدثين لما تمثله هذه الجدلية من عمق العلاقة بين الشرق والغرب. وقد تصدت روايات عربية لمناقشة هذه الثنائية بما يعكس أدبيات الواقع العربي والغربي؛ وكان من بين هذه الروايات رواية عمالقة الشمال للروائي المصري نجيب الكيلاني. وتعرض هذه الرواية للعلاقة بين مسلمي شمال نيجيريا ومسيحييها في الجنوب. وقد أبانت هذه الدراسة تمثلات الأنا والآخر في هذا المجتمع الإفريقي.
Abstract
This study addresses one important issue of modern literature, the dialectical of “Ego end the other” in the Arabic modern novel has found a very wide importance from modern critics since it represents a very deep relationship between East and West.
Several Arabic Novels have faced this duality which reflects the literature of western and western reality ,one of those important novels is the “Giants of the North” for the Egyptian novelist Najib Al kilani.
This novel presents the relationship between Muslims and Christians of North Nigeria in the South.So this study has shed light on the representations of Ego and the other in this African society.
