Authors: د.
Issue Date: 7-Sep-2006
Abstract Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) mentioned in many of his Hadith (i. e. traditions) about the division of Islamic nation as it had already been the case with the Jews and Christians which had become evident. The beginning of this division has emerged towards the end of the Caliphate of Ottoman and Ali Bin Abi Talib (May Allah Be Pleased With Them). Thus Alkhwarag, the Shiite, and Almargiah followed by Almuatazilah, and Alashairh among others prevailed. Each party offend the other to the extent that some parties plasphemized the other one?s faith. Hatred and hostility dominated. Means of dialogue were cut off. New beliefs that contradict the Quran and the Sunnah (i.e.traditions) spread. This study is based on defining Dialogue, the hadith (i.e. prophets traditions) that mentioned this division and its reasons. It also attempted to comprehend these Hadith (i. e. tradition). It also pinpointed the basis or foundations that Dialogue among these parties might take place as well as the conditions and rules of the Dialogue and the barriers confronted instructive dialogue so that we can have instructive dialogue to restore unity and stead fastness of the Ummah (i.e. nation) but for instructive dialogue that considers the Holy Qoran and the tradition of the prophet a resort or a reference once division occurred. This instructive dialogue is protected and shaded by the Faith of Allah. The fear of His punishment and the brother-hood in religion a way from fanaticism and affection.
