Abstract This study aims to explore the corporate social responsibility in the Islamic banks in Jordan seeing the increased consideration to such practices besides their main objective that is profits. The study illustrates that the corporate social responsibility is a major activity of Islamic banks in Jordan since it is a dominant function of funds in Islam. In addition, the results indicate that the CSR expenditure is one of the highest expenditures in the Islamic bank.
