Abstract This study aims at investigating the rhetoric in the story of our prophet Shu'aib peace be upon him , which contained a lot of Quranic rhetorical styles. These styles and approaches were beneficial in tackling the issues of social and economic corruption, Prophet Shuaib’s story has included a set of resolutions which ignored or overlooked by many people. Abstract Islamic economic offers a balance between spirit and material. It does not separate between ethical values and economy. So, the objectives of Shari’ah can be achieved. Individual and social welfare cannot be attained without ideological and ethical motives. This is exactly what distinguishes Islamic economy from others. Ideological motives are represented in Islamic concepts; vicegerency (istikhlaf), wealth is from Allah, and the belief that construction is mandatory. Ethical motives are represented in altruism, brotherhood, support, collaboration, and honesty. Theses motives lead to: first, achievement of social welfare. That is, establishing a cooperative, stable, fair and equal society. Second, achievement of economical welfare through support for individual consumption which accordingly will lead to an increase in the amount of goods and services consumed.
