ملخص
الغالب على مباحث العلة في الحديث النبوي العناية بأوهام الثقات، وأن يكون خفياً غير ظاهر، وقلّ أنْ يكون التعليل في الجرح الظاهر، والناظر في كتب الأقدمين يجد مثل هذا، بل ما هو أشد، بل الأشد منه كالتعليل بالكذب.
فما نسبة التعليل بالجرح الشديد؟ وهل التعليل لجملة الرواية، أم لطريق منها؟ وهل خالف هذا العالمَ غيرُه في حكمه؟ ومَن أخرج هذا النص؟
هذا البحث يجيب عن مثل هذه التساؤلات، من خلال دراسة مجموعة من مسائل التعليل عند ابن أبي حاتم في كتابه " علل الحديث".
